AMAYN (Amharic Version)
Our Father who is in Heaven
Hallowed be your Name
Your Kingdom Come
Your will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our Daily Bread
And forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptation
But Deliver us from Evil
For yours is the Kingdom
The Power and the Glory
Forever and Ever. Amen.(English Version)
The Hebrew prayer is the oldest out of the Aramaic, Geeze-Amharic and English prayers. Israelites use the Hebrew and Aramaic prayers and Ethiopians use the Geeze-Amharic one. Today most English speaking peoples use the English. However as an Israelite I prefer using the Ibriy(Hebrew) prayer because Yah is His ancient sacred name. It was Yahshua Ha Mashiach who showed Yisrael how to pray to Him after all. Blessed be the Ancient of Days! How glorious you are O'Father of Majesty! The Angels adore you! Your saints adore you! BLESSED BE ABBAH! Father of the fatherless and judge of the Widows is YHWH in His Holy Habitation! Thank you Father for everything! The birds in the trees, the sunshine, the mountains, the animals, the righteous people, this beautiful Earth you created! You are worthy to be praised always! TODAH YHWH! HALLELUYAH!
