THE END TIME ELIJAH

The Prophet Yahchanan

Who is the End Time Eliyah or Elijah, is it really Yahchanan the Tabalist(Baptist)? Let us learn from the very scriptures together & find out who this great Prophet really is.

"Behold, I will send you Eliyah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YAH: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."

Many people really thought that Yahchanan the Baptist was the one prophecied in Malachi 4. Well this verse from Malachi 4 pertains to him more.

"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and Yah, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to this temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith Yahwah."(Malakiy 4: 1)

This prophecy was fulfilled with the Prophet Yahchanan. For it was He who prepared the way before Yahshua came in this world. He was the one baptizing people with water before the Messiah came with the Holy Spirit. Even Isaiah 40 talks about the Prophet Yahchanan.

"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of YAH, make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohiym."(Yeshayahu 40)

Yahchanan was a Hebrew Yisra'elite crying to the people about repentance! But check out the rest of the verses here."Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of YAH shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of YAH hath spoken it."

Do you see what is being said here? This verse shows us like Malachi 4, that happening is before the Great and Dreadful Day of YAH! The Great and Dreadful Day of YHWH(our FATHER through Yahshua) is not here yet! So this couldn't refer to Yahchanan the Baptist as being the End Time Eliyah. So who is this person? Yahshua even gave us a hint in His saying. He said that Elijah shall first come and restore all things. No matter which prophet rose up, the Prophet Yahchanan is the greatest prophet ever!

TYPES OF ELIJAH

Some people have been referred to being types of Eliyah. Each one of them are believed by their followers to be the End Time Elijah. Who are these Eliyah types? Let me start with the Hon. Marcus Mosiah Garvey, the president general of the Universal Negro Improvement Association, & the African Communities League.

I could say that Mr. Garvey was a type of Elijah. He did gather millions of Black People, taught them their African History, & the knowledge of who the Creator is. He was like Yahchanan the Baptist in a sense. For it was he who told Black People that they should look to Africa for the crowning of a King. This was fulfilled when H.I.M. Haile Selassie I was coronated in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 1930. Marcus made this speech in Jamaica, 1927, & produced a play called, The Coronation of an African King. Which definitely proves that he did speak on Haile Selassie.

Between Marcus Garvey and Haile Selassie, Garvey was a type of Eliyah & His Majesty a type of Messiah. Mr. Garvey taught Black People their African History, but he didn't mention the Kingdom of Yah being at hand, nor baptized anyone like Yahchanan the Baptist did, or speak on the Nation of Yisra'el. So how could this man be Elijah or the Prophet Yahchanan by certain people, especially Rastafarians? Many Rastas see him as John the Baptist, or Elijah who was lifted up to Heaven in a chariot of fire. Well Mr. Garvey was a great prophet, but surely couldn't have been the End Time Eliyah.

Herbert W. Armstrong, the pastor general of the Worldwide Church of God, is the next person I will discuss about. Many of his followers saw him as this Eliyah in the end times. Armstrong did speak of the Kingdom of Yah, & Baptism. He even traveled around the world delivering sermons to the people about the Gospel of the Kingdom. Mr. Armstrong had his own radio station,(the World Tomorrow Broadcast) wrote numerous books & literatures, & had his own magazine(the Plain Truth). Many people really believed that he was Elijah. Unfortunately, he wasn't because Armstrong died in 1986, and we know that the Second Coming of Yahshua is not here. Mr. Armstrong was a well famous Christian minister. He might be a type of Eliyah by his students, but surely couldn't have been the End Time Elijah. Still I appreciate the effort Armstrong gave in preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Vernon Carrington, the founder of the 12 Tribes of Israel organization, is seen to be Elijah by 12 Tribe members. Based on certain works he did for the people by gathering all kinds of people in the 12 Tribes of Israel. However, Gadman clearly said that he wasn't sent to do this baptismal work like Yahchanan the Baptist, and rather taught about a spiritual side of Baptism, which shows me that he couldn't be Elijah the Prophet, but like Elijah in a sense also. Yet, he did allow certain 12 Tribes members to be baptised the natural way with water, but why are the rest denying Baptism?

Some Rastas believe that water baptism is no longer important, but the Bible teaches us that it is a sacrament that should never be forgotten by anyone. Born Again Like Marcus Garvey & Herbert Armstrong, Brother Gad was a messenger. Yet the final Eliyah will be baptising Yisrael & all peoples through immersion, preaching about the Kingdom of Yah, & will restore everything before Yahshua the Messiah comes. This is the Prophet whose arrival many people are still waiting for before Yahshua returns to set up the Kingdom of Yah. But who is really this special person to accomplish this spiritual laboring for the Most High?

WHO IS THE END TIME ELIJAH?

In the Bible it shows us that Eliyah will return with Mosheh by resurrection." And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before Elohiym of the earth. (Revelations 11: 3,4)

So if the same Elijah is to return again, then who is this great Prophet that will come before Eliyah, in the spirit and power of him? Who is this person that will bring us to Yah also? Teach us about the Kingdom of Yah? Baptizing the people with water like Yahchanan or John did? This is the one that will rise up with the spirit of Eliyah in Him, & restore all things before Yahshua's second advent! Remember what the scrips show us.

"And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Eliyah must first come? And Yahshua answered and said unto them, Eliyah truly shall first come, and restore all things." (Mattityahu 17: 10,11)

Just like all the Israelite kings, priests, & prophets, this Prophet must come from the lineage of Sham(Shem) not Khawm(Ham) or Yephet(Japheth). I think that people need to accept what the scriptures say instead of interpreting the words. Just like the Prophet Elijah when he challenged the false prophets of Baal, on Mount Carmel, this great Prophet shall restore the true worship of Yahwah Elohiym of Yisra'el, to the people again. This Prophet of Yah will say," Repent Yisra'el from your sins! The Kingdom of Yah is at hand! I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, " exactly like the Prophet Yahchanan. Let us remember that in the last days, the babe and suckling will be Visionaries, Prophets of Yah! Therefore, the End Time Elijah will first rise up as a young individual. Only Yah knows who He will appoint and I pray that He will rise up soon! Give thanks for listening to my discussion on the End Time Elijah.
