What is the reason why He should come with a new title, when the name He was given, Yahshua, means Yahwah is salvation? Why does the Bible already emphasize that Yahshua is the name above all earthly names then? What special purpose does Yahwah give Yahshua this  name now, does this mean that name, Yahshua, will be replaced by another? Well only the Supreme Being has all the answers to these questions. Many Christians acknowledge that the Messiah will come with a new name, but never really emphasize what it is. Some believe that He already has this new name which is Christ, & they are called by His Name, as Christians. But does the Bible really teach that this is His new name? Why does the Scriptures clearly state Ha Mashiyach was already known in His first advent, & that this new name will be revealed in His Second Advent? So Messiah couldn't be this new title because everyone already know this name.

Then there are many Rastas who see Ras Tafari as the new name. As a Rastaman, can I really believe that Ras Tafari is actually Yahshua's new name, because others believe so? Ras Michael & the Sons of Negus, came up with a Rastafarian hymn many years ago, proving that Ras Tafari is the new name for the Messiah. "A New Name Jah got and it's terrible among them. Heeden nuh like Jah Name. For when we call him Ras Tafari, watch how weakheart tremble. Heeden nuh like Jah Name! Its a New Name, Precious Name! New Name, Ras Tafari! New Name, Precious Name, New Name, Jah Ras Tafari! " So where does that leave Rastafarians? Should they all accept Ras Tafari as this new name, when the Bible doesn't show this proof? Why is it that the scrips shows that this new name no one will ever know? How could the name, Ras Tafari, remove the name of Yahshua?

I can agree that they are identified as Rastafarians, but is this really the new name? They are called by Ras Tafari, Selassie I''s name as Rastafarian people.  However, the Emperor represents the Almighty Yah, as an Israelite King. By the grace of Elohim, the Emperor also came to teach us about the Father & the Son! Like I have said numerous times on this website, Selassie, the Emperor, is not the Savior. We are saved by Yahshua's name, its a holy name, the Name above all names on Earth! This is the name that we can be saved by & no other! The Messiah was born Yahshua Bayn Yowceph, and this name saves us! No other name I know that can truly redeem us to the Father, but Yahshua Ha Mashiyach! Ras Tafari even showed us this already! If Yahshua is really coming with a new name, then we shall know what it is when He returns again.

Which clearly means that Ras Tafari couldn't be the new name at all like many believe it is. If I was to agree that the New Name is Ras Tafari, then that means I see H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I as Yahshua the Messiah, when I surely don't see Him as Messiah anymore. There are many Rastas who say that the new name is Ras Tafari, Haile Selassie I. However, by just reading the scriptures above, it is a name that no one knows but only He Himself. The Emperor doesn't even know what this new name is. It is the Name that Yahshua will reveal to us on that wonderful day only! So Ras Tafari isn't the new name for the Messiah  neither, because the Ethiopians knew what name Crown Prince Tafari Makonnen would take which is Ras Tafari. No one isn't going to know this name the Messiah will come with, like the Bible shows us. Yahshua our Messianic King will be identified with a new name, & wearing many crowns on his head also! 

Many Crowns.

In Revelations 19, it also reveals the Messiah wearing many crowns on His Head. What does this refer to? What does many mean to you? Well for I it means that He shall be crowned with all Crowns. Many Rastas uphold that since His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I was crowned thrice as Lij, Negus, and Emperor, this means he is the Messiah with many crowns. At one time I also believed this, but the scrips show me  that the Messiah our King, will be crowned with all crowns. Not three but ALL! Crown Him with Many Crowns! I can say with His Majesty Haile Selassie receiving the triple crown on his head, shows us how  Yahshua will retrieve all the Crowns! We need to read the scriptures  more, to see that He will wear the crowns of the whole world! Heavy is the head that wears all those crowns. Crown the Messiah with many Crowns! No more crown of thorns it will be, the Crown of Glory shall rest on His precious head, by the FATHER!!

Remember what Revelations 19 says, He(YAHSHUA) has a Name written, that no man knew but He Himself. So no one will exactly know what this new name is. Therefore, I cannot assume or pretend that Ras Tafari is the New Name, when the Holy Bible doesn't necessarily  promote this kind of teaching. I hope that you see what I am elaborating on here and please overstand that I am not opposing anyone, because of their different perspectives on who the Messiah is. I show toleration to each and everyone views, even if I disagree with what they say about Ras Tafari being Ha Mashiyach. But in my view, only the  Messiah knows this New Name, it hasn't been revealed yet but soon will! Thank you very much for reading this discussion on the New Name. YHWH bless us all.
