Greetings in the name of Yahshua the Messiah, the Twelve Tribes of Israel, the Messianic Faith, & the Royal House of David! This interview was held July 13th, 1997, on Jamaica's Irie FM radio, by Andrea Williams at Brother Gad's residence. His elaboration is not only on the Twelve Tribes Of Israel, but on the Rastafari Movement itself. After reading this interview for myself, there is certain emphasis that need to be made here. Let us listen to the Prophet Gad's remarks, because he's making some good points, which couldn't be ignored by all Rastafarians. His reasonings were inspired through the Holy Bible, & His Imperial Majesty. Here are my comments on the interview, which I hope you will surely enjoy.
BURN THE BIBLE?
Gadman said, "Read your Bible one chapter a day." Haile Selassie & Marcus Garvey also taught on Bible reading. His Majesty said, " The Bible is the rallying point for all humanity." Marcus said," Read the Bible daily " However, some Rastas rebelliously utter, " Bun de Bible! " Please listen carefully to what His Majesty says," In order for ones to hope for Salvation, they must read the Bible with a clear conscience." Rastafari hear the King's words, & stop burning the Scriptures. King James only edited the Bible in English, but what's important is the Message, not the language, or version, like His Majesty said! Please read the Bible, & learn the Truth for yourselves! Rastafari have to accept the Holy Scriptures, if professing to be true Rastafarians.
YAHSHUA IS THE MESSIAH
When I read and listened to this interview myself, it is quite obvious what Brother Gad teaches. He clearly advises us to look to the Messiah for salvation, like Selassie also taught. Certain Rastafarians spoke on Yahshua as the true Messiah and King, when I grew up in the Caribbean. Because Yahshua is the Way, the Truth, & the Life! Only He came to bring us to the Father again! Gadman like His Majesty shows us by the Messiah we truly can be saved & redeemed! For the scrips say," Neither is there salvation in no other. For there is no other name under Heaven by which man can be saved by."(Acts 4) Haile Selassie is the King of Israel, but Yahshua is the King of all kings! Prophet Gad also quoted Selassie's words, " I am not saved in the man character but by Yahshua the Messiah's blood." His Majesty was redeemed by the blood of the Lamb! One of my favorite songs is, On the Battlefield. "On the Battlefield for my Master! Come and dine the Master calls. Come an dine! He who rules calls you all the time. Yahshua feed the multitude and He turn water into wine. Come an dine the Master calls. Come and dine." Yah's Son, Yahshua is the Master Messiah!
TWELVE TRIBES FOR ALL PEOPLES
Brother Gad, comments that the Twelve Tribes Of Israel, is for anyone, despite their race, color, class, creed, or sex. Some Rastafari groups, allow only black people, but with Twelve Tribes there is no partiality. He is a genial person by embracing different peoples, no matter their ethnicity. Gadman indeed follows Selassie's racial unification words, " We must overcome petty prejudices and become members of a new race." Race shouldn't really be an issue within Rastafari, because we are all Yah's children(Shem, Ham, & Japheth). The Prophet Gad also believes that Rasta people should identify with the Tribes of Israel in a spiritual manner, & either be a Twelve Tribes member or not. " Membership is not limited but inclusive," like Andrea Williams said. He encourages all Rastafarians to see the inward(the heart) & not the outward(looks), & realise that they're all Israelites.
GRACE THROUGH FAITH
He also states that hair or food, can't save us, which is true. For only the Conquering Lion of Judah, Yahshua of Nazareth, can redeem us! Because of outward appearances, & choice of foods, most Rastafarians are being antagonistic towards ones, which is foolish to me. Yet in the earlier times, certain elders weren't dread & vegetarians. So how can they fight those who aren't dreadlocks, or italists like them? I myself prefer to wear locks, & be an Italist, because that is my choice, & what the Scriptures shows me, but I couldn't ridicule others. In order to be a true Rasta, you must always have Yah's love in you! Ones have been rejected because of their looks, & what they eat, but for those Rastafarians who don't behave this way, Yah bless you. We are saved by grace through faith nothing else. This is clearly what the Bible teaches!
THE MONARCHY
He also explains that His Imperial Majesty is not Yisrael's final Ruler, Yahshua is! Alot of Rastafarians fail to realise this truth. They hold on to His Majesty as the last King, & no one else. However, it clearly states in the Ethiopian Constitution, that Haile Selassie I's successor was H.I.M. Amha Selassie 1st, and now it's H.I.H. Zere Yacob. Therefore, the lineage doesn't end with His Majesty, but will continue until Yahshua the Master returns in His second advent! Nevertheless, H.I.M. Haile Selassie, taught me about Yahshua Ha Mashiach. Brother Gad has declared that it is Yahshua, who is returning again to sit on Israel's Throne forever. The Bible clearly reveals that Yah's Monarchy must restore again! The Royal House of David in Ethiopia, was dethroned already by the Zagwe kings, but Prince Yekuno Amlak restored it. Mengistu & his regime tried to do the same thing, but I know that Ethiopia will have a king again by Yah's Will! I pray for the restitution of the Monarchy, & the future King/Emperor of Ethiopia, to be guided by the Most High. Only Yahshua is the true & final King of Yisra'el, & that is what ones need to realise!
ISRAEL AND RASTAFARI
Prophet Gad also spoke on Israel being a part of Africa, before the construction of the Suez Canal. This is why he recognizes the Bayt Yisra'el(so called Falashas in Ethiopia) Israelite migration as prophecy. From a map, we can see how close Israel really is to Africa! But why do most Rastas reject Yisra'el as their spiritual land? Ancient Israel is the Land where the New Jerusalem will take place at not Ethiopia. The Bible definitely shows Yahshua returning in Yisra'el no where else. Gadman knows this truth by simply reading the Holy Bible. He also advises all Rastas to organise & centralise, which I also agree with. Rastafarians can accomplish alot of goals if they put aside their differences. Like Brother Gad, they should rather deal with correspondence, not any commotion. All Rastafari houses must unite & realise that they are all Rastafarians. Let them reconstruct the African continent together! No more bickering let the solidarity begin now. The time has come Rastafari live up!
CONCLUSION
Everyone should listen to what the Prophet Gad says. It is an interview that I would recommend for anyone interested in the Twelve Tribes organization. From the Bible, Yisra'el's history, Yahshua the Messiah, His Imperial Majesty, the Royal House of David, the New Jerusalem, etc., everything is explained in detail by Brother Gad. The interviewer, Ms. Andrea Williams, appreciated Brother Gad's comments. She learned about the Rastafari philosophy through a Twelve Tribes perspective given by Gadman. I'm sure others were thankful for what he imparted to them through the radio. Perhaps this interview was beneficial for most of the listening audience, Rastafarians, & probably Christians, now realising that Rastafari teaches about the Messianic Faith(or true Christianity like some would say). Thanks to Prophet Gad, for allowing ones to hear him speak on the Twelve Tribes Of Israel. Twelve Tribes like all other Rastafari groups, is gathering all peoples universally!
