devil is mentioned in the bible=60 times  52 times it mentions =satan  1 time for=devilish ,and a host of other names as well. devils or demons=55   princapalities and powers=8  evil spirits 4 times.    1st peter 5 verse 8 be sober be vigilent cause your adversary the devil is a roaring lion walking about seeking who he can devour.    ephesians 4-27 neither have anyplace for the devil.    james 4-7 resist the devil and he will flee from you.      ephesians 6-11 out on the whole armor of god that you may be able to stand against the whiles of the devil.     revelation 12-11 they overcame satan by the blood of the lamb=jesus christ!!!!!!!     when god is praised the word Yahway or Jehova is used..but when it describes some work that god does the name is ELOHIM and thats whats found in the original hebrew of genisis 1-1,in the begining elohim created it and thats important because anything that ends with IM means a plurality more then 1 cherabim seraphim angels plurality etc Exodus 20 verse 3 thow shall have no gods before me but the hebrew word is though shall have no elohim before me meaning more then 1 ,,in the begining elohim ,more then one-created heaven and earth=proveing right up front verse 1 thats theres a trinity ,,,god allowed jesus christ whos from old,from all eternity to micha 5-2 to perform the job of creation,,,john 1-3 all things were made by christ and without christ was not anything made that was made,,john 1-10 he was in the world and the world was made by him,,colosians 1-16 for by christ were all things created that are in heaven and that are made on earth visable and invisable weather they be thrones dominions princapalities and powers all things were created by christ and for christ,,,Watch that term princapalities and powers  for it refers to angels ,both good and bad,,so Lucifer was created by the lord jesus christ,,,but he was a wonderful angel in the begining,the story is unfolded in ezekial 28 verses 14-16 thought art the anointed cherb  that covereth and i have set thee so,,though were on the wholly mountain of god,,,untill iniquity was found in thee ,,and then what?  though was cast out of the  wholly mountain of god=the third heaven of corinthians 12-2 why because he sinned and what was that sinn?? thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty,,we see a number of things here first he was the anointed cherub a beautiful angel created to serve and praise god,second he was upon the mountain of god,third he was cast out because of his pride his beauty,,,,in 1st timothy chapter 3 the qualifications are layed out  of becoming a minister ,he should not  become a new christian  because in the position of being a new minister pride fills him and as a result he falls in the same position as satan because of this pride,,,,,, the scenario is found in isaih 14 verses 12-14 how art though fallen from heaven o lucifer  son of the mourning how art though cut down to the ground which did weaken the nations,,for thow has said in thine heart I will ascend into heaven i will exhault my throne above the stars of god,i will sit upon the mound of the congragation gods throne in the sides of the north, i will ascend above the heights of the heavens i i lucifer will be like the most high GOD,  my thoughts he had eye trouble he shoulda seen an optomatrist,theres the pride we mentioned before and of course he fell from his position and he can no longer enter the third heaven of 2nd corinthians 12 -2 because of his sinn,,,,,SO he is not some wonderful being all you new agers he is AN EVIL MALIGNENT SPIRIT WHO SINNED AGAINST GOD,WHO WANTED TO RIDE ABOVE GOD AND SIT ON THE THRONE OF GOD.and he couldnt make it!!!! this is just a begining layout part 2 soon.
