USS Gunslinger NCC-6019 
Group Info The Real life History of the Gunslinger started around March 10th 2003, when we launched as the Shuttle Hapsburg. Our first Mothership was the USS Mir in Las Cruces New Mexico and our Second was the Space Station Freedom III in Dallas Texas. During our time as a Shuttle we had a great number of events culminating in the Star Trek Convention here in El Paso in November 2003. Here is one Picture from our Launching Day: 
(Photo Above) Captain Olivares, Commander Johnston, Lieutenant Junior Grade Kell, First Sergeant Ruby, and Brian Poplin who at the time was our Chief Engineer We commissioned as the USS Gunslinger on February 7th 2004 at the Region Three Retreat in Lubbock Texas. At the time, we were the only Marine only ship in SFI, and we showed it proudly! Following our Commissioning we attended other events with our sister Chapters in the region. Here is a Picture from our Commissioning.

We also support local charities here in the West Texas and Southern New Mexico region. They are the Rescue Mission of El Paso, Candle Lighters, and Veterans groups.
