Women’s Wrestling -- Cumberland at Western
Terri McNutt won both her matches against Cumberland College (Kentucky). The mustang captain and nursing graduate student beat Maggie Klauck by pin and Ashley Dehnz by technical superiority at 55 kg. The defending OUA champion was the lone mustang to go undefeated in dual matches against the top ranked women’s team in US colleges. Teammate and 3rd year science student, Jess Fitzgerald compiled 3 wins and one loss at 67 kg. First year team member, Kirby Steinhoff recorded a 2-1 win-loss at 72 kg. Other team members splitting with 1-1 win-loss match-ups were Stephanie Szmiett (51 kg) and Jenn Nguyen (51 kg).
