Western vs Brock
- Adam Phillips (76) and Tosh Jeffrey (65) defeat opponents by fall<o:p></o:p>
Western vs. Lakehead
- Tosh Jeffrey (65) started a mustang comeback with a 2nd round PIN against Mark Crocket - a former London-Western team member. The first round was won by Crocket 6-0, but Jeffrey came back pinning Crockett with a cradle at 4-0 with about 1 minute remaining
- Dave Skopelianos (68) followed with a PIN against his opponent in first 40 seconds of the match with front head and arm snap down and duck under for a side cradle pin.
- Adam Phillips (76) won by PIN but it was not easy. He won the first round by a score of 4-1 and the second round he lost 2-0. The third round he led by a score of 3-1 and in last 15 seconds of the match pinned his opponent.
- After seven weight classes the Team score – Western was leading 18 – 15. Lakehead was given 5 points at the start due to Western’s voided 57 kg weight class.
- Lakehead took the next two matches at 82 and 90 kg. Vi Nguyen-Hu (82) lost a close one as did Al Bermingham vs. Rector (LU)
- The dual victory would be decided with the final match at 130 kg. Team score LU 21 and Western - 20.
- Ian Patton was leading 2-0 with 40 seconds left in the first round when he relaxed in a zone with over and under and instead pushing to outside he tried to throw to the inside of mat and got caught on his back, fought to his stomach but his opponent had the arm and got him on his back and pinned him. We lost the dual 26- 20 to Lakehead.
Western over McMaster
- Tosh Jeffrey went to the 3rd round where he eventually pinned his opponent
- Adam Phillips won the first round 5-1 and pinned his opponent in the second round
Mustang win-loss records
Jeff Werden (54) was 0 - 3
Phil Medeiros (61) was 0- 5
Tosh Jeffrey only lost to SFU wrestler although he had him on his back but got reversed and got pinned . Jeffrey had the best win-loss record of the mustangs with 4 wins and-1 loss. He won 3 matches by PINS
Dave Skopelianos (68) won 1 and lost 4.
Keenan Miller (72) 2 wins and 3 losses.
Adam Phillips - 3 wins and 1 loss. Phillips’ only loss was by one point in both rounds to SFU wrestler. Adam's 3 wins were all by PINS against Brock, LU and McMaster
Wolff Shweitzer (76) injury versus Saskatchewan
Vi Nguyen-Hu (82) 2 wins and 2 losses.
Al Germingham (90) 1 win and 3 losses.
