Under His wings I am safely abiding Though the night deepens and the tempests are wild Still I can trust Him, I know He will keep me He has redeemed me, and I am His child Under His wings, under His wings Who from His love can sever Under His wings my soul shall abide Safely abide forever Under His wings, what a refuge in sorrow How the heart yearningly turns to His rest Often when earth has no balm for my healing There I find comfort, and there I am blessed Under His wings, O what precious enjoyment There will I hide till life’s trials are o’er Sheltered, protected, no evil can harm me Resting in Jesus, I’m safe evermore Under His Wings Our most glorious Father above Has me Under His Wings With His love and protection I can overcome all things. He whispers in my ear "Take my comfort, have no fear Climb up in my lap And let us have a chat." He freely offers redemption Healing, strength, overcoming Guidance and instruction And His love and protection. For the Father wants us near Considers each of us dear So don't reject the builder For then there is much to fear! So climb into the lap Of the God of wisdom and all things Stay awhile and have a chat Snuggled warmly Under His Wings!
