We are going to create a sig like mine - you will need Eye Candy 4000 Shadowlab Filter if you want the darkened drop shadow show on my name - it isn't necessary - I just thought it added a nice effect. :) Open a new transparent 500 x 150 image in PSP ( allowing for long names) Click on your Text Tool - using the settings below - I used the Beckett Regular Font which you can download HERE - it is best to use a font that has some width to it rather than a skinny font- but that will work too! Download Rainbow Gradient HERE - direct to your gradients folder in PSP7 
The first letter of your name will be a size 100 - type in the remainder of your name letters, highlight with your mouse and change the settings to size 48 
Click OK and you will see 'marching ants' surrounding your name - with those active, go to Effects, CutOut and use these settings 
Click OK - Go back to Effects, Inner Bevel - and use these settings 
If you are going to use the EyeCandy 4000 Shadowlab effect go to Effects, Plugins, EyeCandy 4000, Shadowlab and use these settings 
all this step does is give you the darker edges around the name - if you don't have EC 4000 - go to the next step Go Back to Effects, 3D, DropShadow and use these settings 
Click OK - your sig will look like this one - 
copy your sig - minimize PSP and open Animation Shop, pasting as a New Animation. Go to Effects, Insert Image Effect, Rotate Colors and click OK
