Any similarity to any other tut is purely coincidental - this tut is of my own imagination to download the *free* trial version of PSP8 click HERE We will be making the background set on this page - starting with the heart bg You will need to download the Country Heart Button HERE - I did not export it into my picture tubes but rather opened it as a psp image - copied and pasted Open a new 80x80 transparent image and flood fill with # D3B8B9 Go to adjust, add noise, using the settings below  click OK - set your color palette colors- foreground color # 684748, background color #9C7F81 click on view-rulers your image will look like this  click on preset shapes tool - rectangle -create as vector- line width 1- click mouse on the line at 50 at the top of the ruler and drag mouse down and over to the left to the line right above the 50 and release mouse  go to objects- align- center in canvas go to view- rulers and ruler will disappear  on the far right of your vector square- you will see a little black box- click your mouse on that and move it around until you see a circular arrow - this will allow you to 'turn' your square- turn it until you get a diamond shape- then go to selections- select none- your image will now look like this  open your Country Heart Button - and resize it to 49x40 and paste it into the center of the diamond - go to layers- merge flat - then to effects, image effects, seamless tiling - using these settings  your finished country heart tile will look like this  save as a .gif Next step: co-indinated bg's - we will make 2 more - open a new 80x80 transparent image and flood fill with color #684748- go to adjust- add noise (random, 5% noise, check monochrome) - go to effects, image effects, seamless tiling and use the same settings as the countryheart button tile - save as .gif your coordinated border tile on to the 3rd tile which will be your top layer tile - open a new 80x80 transparent image and flood fill with color # BE9A9A @ 50% opacity - go to effects-texture effects-texture and choose a texture you like- I used the 'evergreen'- apply- go to layers- merge flat- apply one more flood fill of the same color at 50% opacity - go to adjust- add noise @ 2%- (random and check monochrome) - go to effects-image effects- seamless tiling- check edge- bidirectional- OK and save as .gif your 3rd and final bg - for adding text and graphics to hope you found this tutorial fun and easy! if you would like to show your results - visit us at Unique Boutique |
