Position Description

The Chairperson’s responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of The University of Toronto Floorball Club’s operations. They are in charge of keeping the club on a consistent path of expansion and making sure that all aspects of the club are functioning properly. The Chairperson calls meetings and acts as the head of these meetings. The Chairperson is also in charge of making sure that The Floorball Club’s recognition by various groups (for example, Student Affairs, Students’ Administrative Council, the Faculty of Physical Education and Health, the City of Toronto, and the Toronto District School Board) are up-to-date and current. The Chairperson has to make themselves available to all of the Board of Directors and the members of the Club. The Chairperson will also temporarily fill any empty position on the Board while a replacement is being found.
