Apr 28, 2008 04:30 AM .. Mels’ back..!! Word has it that Mel Gibson has been visiting the Ignacio Allende prison at Veracruz, Mexico, reportedly to scout locations for a new movie. Gibson last filmed Apocalypto near Catemaco in the southern part of Veracruz.
April 21st.. Spring cleaning.. please excuse mess.. I have been adding fotos, attempting to re-orginizing some things.. Taking off for couple weeks or so, will work more on it when I get back.. jonw
April 21st.. The gov. prediction that "April of 2008 was going to be the hottest April in a hundred yrs." had me thinking about running out and buying AC unit or at least a big, more powerful fan than I currently have.. As of April 21st. this month has turned out to be pretty much a reflection of the last 10-15 yrs weather.. One day (April 9th) did turn out to be a record setter reaching 96 degrees. Several days have been slightly above average temps and the rest quiet average, or even cool.. According to weather archives, most of the records set for this month have fallen on yrs from 1995 thru 2006.. Which is to say that this yrs temperatures are about par for the course..
Its May and a few more of the following months temps that will make us locals wish that we were still enjoying the "hottest April in a hundred yrs." ...

April 12.. The warm weather has brought out big crowds since Easter, especially on weekends around the zocalo, the malacon and the beaches.. Matter of fact, I am headed for beach later on today to join them..!!
