Welcome to the Casa Grande Post 1677 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars!!! WE WILL HAVE ANOTHER GREAT YEAR!!! Our address: 111 E 2nd Street Casa Grande, AZ 85222 phone: 520-836-5199 fax: 520-876-5616 ***** THANK YOU to all who helped with the latest Buddy Poppy campaign!!! We received over $3,000 this Memorial Day weekend!!! ***** There are two Veterans Readjustment Centers in the Valley. These facilities help retuning veterans who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. They also help the families and provide bereavement counseling. They are at 77 E. Weldon Ave., Suite 100, in Phoenix and at 1303 S. Longmore, Suite 5, in Mesa. ***** !!!!! REMEMBER: You don't have to have been in a foreign war to be a VETERAN!!!!! ... and WELCOME again! We are working hard to keep this Greatest Little Post in Arizona as nice as can be. If you are in the area, come by and visit ... and maybe even attend a meeting. Both the Post and the Ladies meetings are on the 4th Sunday at 1p.m. If you been here a few years ago, you would be surprised how Casa Grande is looking now. This little burg that didn't start growing until I-10 was built just east of the town is growing by leaps and bounds. In a few years, this town will actually be a town all year round - not just in the winter. There are new stores and new restaurants and new ... ... ... You all might want to consider moving here because it still does not have all the hussle and bustle of a city. Are you a veteran and authorized almost-free civilian care? If you are retired, check the back of your ID card (and that of your spouse). If it says "direct" under 'medical', you have Basic TriCare and are authorized civilian care with a co-pay. For VA care, please check the links I put into the Link page and the information that I put into the Tucson VA page. For questions on VA Benefits, please come/go and see the new Benefits Counselors whose funding was authorized by the Governor last year if you choose not to come to the Post.
