18th May: Pups have today had their first taste of REAL food! Jenna is a really good mum and feeds the pups very well, they are always quiet and content with full bellies. But with a big litter, I like to start weaning as early as possible, before they actually need it. I soaked a small amount of Royal Canin Starter (the food Jenna has been eating) and added 2 heaped spoonfuls of Welpi, made it nice and sloppy with warm water and they all thoroughly enjoyed it.........the three smaller puppies ate the most and were the best eaters, but this always seems to be the case. Some of the bigger ones started to eat from a spoon, but the smaller ones were straight in the dish. Jenna went in afterwards and finished off the tiny amount they left, then cleaned them all up and has now left them all sleeping soundly! They are all now starting to play and bark, which is lovely to see.
19th May: Pups were wormed today for the first time, they will be wormed every two weeks until they leave for thir new homes!
20th May: Click on the links below to see "Pups on the move" and "First feeds"...........although, they wern't very hungry today, but not to worry, they don't actually need it yet, so Jenna will be in soon to clean up!

2nd June: Pups are growing really fast and much more active and interesting now, click on the link below to to get a glimpse of them in action! When they were first moved, they were really noisy for a good few minutes, until Jenna went in and comforted them with a feed. They had just been moved, to give them some more space and they had to get their bearings and work out how to get back on their comfortable blanket. It didn't take too long for them to work it out and now a few days later and they are freely running in and out, with a little guidance from mum teaching them how!...........it's nice to see them come out from their bed to toilet, rather than soil their bedding.
