Half the battle of caring for a chronically ill pet is having a good vet in your corner.  If you're found the right vet to care for your pets, we want to know about it. Please send your referrals to deanieandboo@hotmail.com and we'll get them listed! Positive comments only, please--although I know of a few clinics that I would never take my cats too, I'm not about to post that information on the internet. Click here to find a nearby emergency clinic in AZ.

Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic

4111 N. 36th Street  (36th St. and Indian School Road)

Phoenix, AZ  85018

602-955-5980

This is Boo's current vet and we can't say enough about how well they have treated us. While Dr. Peter was always Boo's primary vet, we have managed to meet every vet in the clinic at one time or another--with 6 cats in the house, we're frequent customers at Blue Cross! (Boo also saw Dr Dutton for acupuncture to treat his chronic pancreatitis) Dr Peter is also currently treating sister Abbey for lymphoma.

The referral for Just Cats Veterinary Clinic has been removed. We're sorry to say that Just Cats has closed. It's always a shame to lose a good vet!

Paradise Valley Emergency Clinic

6969 E Shea Blvd. Suite #225

Scottsdale, AZ  85254

480-991-1845

Fortunately we haven't had to visit these folks often but it's nice to know they're there on nights and weekends when we do need help!

Sundown Animal Clinic

10616 N 71st Place

Scottsdale, AZ  85254

602-948-6360

This was Boo's vet clinic till he was almost 8 years old--if we hadn't moved over 30 miles away that year, we would have still been going there. They're right across the street from PV Emergency and work very closely with them.

Union Hills Animal Hospital

1933 W Union Hills Drive

Phoenix, AZ  85027

Recommended by Drema and Binx--Binx normally sees Dr Susan Goshert but knows the other 2 vets as well!

Boo's buddy Binx has also just been diagnosed with lyphoma and would like to add his recomendation for oncology services.
