Where do I start?      Play music?

I have always wanted to do this yet I don't know what type of detector to buy, who to talk to?

How much will it cost me to get into something like this.?

Can I get rich doing this for a hobbie?

These are a few of the questions I will try to answer here. I don't sell detectors, nor do I promote any make of detector. I will recommend a type of detector for the intended us, but the make and model is a choice you will half to make for you.

The first question you will need to answer for yourself is what type of detecting do I want to do? There are detectors for scuba diving, and land, most of the dectector that you use for scuba are to heavy to use on dry land. You also don't want to try to take a land detector under water.

Now, there are all purpose detectors, however if your hunting for nuggets I don't recommend them.

If you are doing relic and coin and jewerly you can get a great all purpose machine.

Anyway, If I haven't confused the day lights out of you . There are these basic types of hunting

Coin, relic, cache, and nuggets.  If your a scuba diver there is only one type of detector that you can get, that's your basic PI. But, if your talking water's edge hunting the are  more.

You shoul be able to get a good starter unit relic, coin , for about 3-4 hundred. If your one of those who never finish what you start or you know that you just can't commit to anything for vary long, stick to the low end as possible. If your a finish what you start type person, spend as much as your wallet will bear.

Getting RICH. Can happen, but don't count on it  . If it does happen, it will be when you least expect it.

If you truely want to know more post to the message board and either I or someone else will give you the help you need.
