What legalese I know does not a lawyer make. I am only a laymen in the strictest terms, therefore I only advise. I have references to attoneys, lists of Veteran Advocate Attorneys, who are board recognized by the VA system.
Attorneys only come in after a claim is denied. If you hire an attorney at the start of your filing of a claim, all fees will be borne by you.
VA only is required to consider attorney fees when appealing a denied claim. VA Rules and Regs.
