"Other aspects" (5)

Vivism

and Housing

One might say, that if man would be supposed to live in a house, he would have been created with one on his back (like some kinds of slugs are).

(Nowadays) living in a house has so many drawbacks, that one can ask him/herselves, how it is possible, that so many still do.

To mention a few of those disadvantages:

It's dangerous

Especcially in countries where earthquakes use to occur, it's astonishing, that after such a disaster has taken place, survivors start living again inside new-built houses. Why don't they choose for tents (for instance Gers)? Of course enemies and wild animals can easier go through the 'wall' of a tent, then through the windows of a stone-house, but when one behaves like one should, one has no enemies and doesn't raise furor of wild animals.

Other kinds of danger are:

  • Explosions of gasholders or -pipes (Indeed one can leave use of this kind of energy behind, but do the neighbours do the same?).
  • Fire. Mostly there are that much objects in and inside houses, that a fire gets enough food, to burn the whole building inclusively those, who still are in it.
  • Traffic. Sometimes a truck or a bus simply gets of of the road and drives into a house along that road.
  • Storm sometimes damages or destroys buildings, while inhabitants get hurt or killed as a concequence.
  • Radiation and dust. It's prooved, that inside nowadays houses dust and several kinds of radiation kill inhabitants slowly. According to statistics, more people are killed by this cause, than in traffic-accidents!

Other drawbacks

  • Living inside a house means, that one misses constant contact with nature outside. Outside there's full daylight (sometimes even sunlight), fresh air (full of oxigen) and natural temperature; outside there are refreshing raindrops, beautifull animals and splendid plants, often with their gorgeous fragrance. Inside on the contrary, there's only strongly reduced natural day- and sunlight, allways the same wallpaper, artificial lighting, artificial heating or cooling and abstinence of contact with natural life in surroundings.

Especcially animal- and plantfriends enjoy being amidst their friends and can feel at home there, more than anywhere else.

Having to live inside, in many aspects must be regarded to be a punishment for what one has done wrong to other parts of nature.

  • Building houses takes several kinds of materials, like cement, gravel and sand. Mostly these materials have to be got out of the ground. Due to this, often natural environment is damaged heavily. Even more or less paradisiacle regions have been turned into ghost-regions, just to get these buildingmaterials, with which other regions were turned to seas of concrete. Indeed the result is, that liveability in both kinds of regions by now is very small.

Another material, that mostly is used for building houses, is wood. As far as this is wood from the tropical rainforests, the consequences may be clear; there will be no more "Lungs of Earth" any more in some thirty years, when they keep being destroyed at the nowadays speed.

Also to get other kinds of wood, mostly nature is destroyed.

  • Last, but not least there is the drawback of what happens to the parts of Earth, where all those seas of concrete are built. Often this were beautifull spots, in which many "would like to live". The problem however is, that when they can live there in their new built stone houses, those spots are not exactly beautifull any more. In fact they are not very different, from those, the invaders wanted to get out.

This would not have been the case, when they would have started living in nature there!
