Drawing and Banishing are the basic two types

when practicing Moon Magic.  Magic occurring

through the Waxing Moon Cycle, involves drawing

or strengthening what we want towards us.  Magic

occurring through the Waning of the moon, should

involve banishing what we may no longer want

nor desire, or ridding oneself or another (by consent

 of course) of something.

ABOUT THE MOON

There are 8 different phases of the moon (shown above)

It takes the moon approximately 29 1/2 days to complete one full cycle

The phase of the moon is determined by the positions of the Earth, Moon and Sun
Therefore, it looks the same for EVERYONE no matter where you reside

The Full Moon rises at about Sunset. Each night after the full moon, it comes up about 48 minutes later.  The New Moon is harder to see, but it rises around the same time as the Sun rises

The moon is at any particular phase for only an instant, constantly changing its view from earth

The tug of the Moon and Sun affects the oceans, giving us the tides
