The Goddess, our Goddess in all her beauty is caring, loving, mysterious, thoughtful, an idealist, creative, dedicated, faithful, loyal, cunning, surprising, and at times vengeful, careless, dictative, and self involved.
The goddess represents us as women and who we are. We have been neglected but tough in our actions. Manipulated but out of that given the chance to grow stronger than the rest. Who exactly is 'the rest' ofcourse our other half...men. I in no way blame them for the oppression put upon the female identities over the years. None of us is perfect, and they are literally physically the stronger sex. Add a 'y' to the end of 'sex' and that be one of the reasons I can't live without them. But those times have passed, and the dawning of the Goddess with all her many facets has emerged, and is ready to be revealed.
Actions from women of the past have been overlooked, yes even our Goddess. When I recently visited Encylopedia.com to see what they had to say about her. I was stunned to find pages of 'the god' on my screen. 'Shiva' the Hindu god of the past was acknowledged as one of the greatest gods of hinduism. When typing in his counter part 'Skakti', she is plainly depicted as the female consort of the male diety, and is only regarded as a Goddess not actually called The Goddess.
One can not live without the other. The real question at hand is, if it came down to it which one could???
I am not a feminist, a man hater, nor do I care to write about this any longer. The point is I have noticed, and no longer desire to watch the goddess go unnoticed by so many.
So, I have dedicated this section which will be updated often on the Goddess in all her beauty and her many faces...
