I myself am a baby boomer. I was born in 1945 and never gave any thought to my health issues (mild) being from my dad's WWII exposure to fumes of war when he was on a torpedoed US Navy ship. - At age 3 my tonsils had to be removed; Navy Dr said otherwise I would not live to be 5 Immune System ?
- As a young child had severe ear infections
- I have skin tags *
- I came down with diabetes in my 50s; (Diabetes - a health crisis WWII Nations?) A new view of Diabetes?
- I have autoimmune metabolic syndrome (Syndrome X) belly fat/high cholesterol
- I have Overweight
- I have fibroid uterin tumors
- I had concern for an ovary some years back
- I get pneumonia VERY EASILY. a cold can become pneumonia in ONE DAY and a doctor from my childhood told mom that since I had had so many antibiotics as a child, they would be ineffective help for me in adulthood
- My blood pressure has decided to go to the low side of normal - could have gone high
- One leg has aching veins ... which have started bulging; dad had horrible vericose veins
- My eyesight used to be so good; now a stigmatism & I can't read the top line of the vision chart
- Periodontal Disease starting up 2006 (age 60)... suddenly with no change in care. Dental Hygienist says they often notice people have 'autoimmune dysfunction' or lupus or diabetes PRIOR to their doctor finding it. (So is this something that was going to happen because of what I suspect from my dad's being chemically poisoned? Or was it because I have been getting my own 'direct & second hand' exposures this past year?) A gulf war vet, Chad Pagel said he had these issues, can't even smile ...and it wasn't because he didn't take care of his teeth
- BONES are very strong & doctor did an official test of them 2 years ago. Now I wonder whether there could be problems starting up here, too
- I have a granddaughter with a 'blank look' too often; (borderline Autism?) Also has a hemangioma on forehead
I suspect some of these are late to show up birth defects from my dad's exposure to
2-butoxyethanol or something similar.
My dad was about 60 when he died in 1971 of a 'heart attack.' They didn't have the terminology of PTSD. But if I had his medical records, I believe there would be the pattern of CFIDS
I suspect my parent's divorce when I was 14 & my brother was 8 was primarily due to the changes in his personality from those days. I believe our lives would have been different, had dad not been health damaged, but no one gave him any 'space' for that possibility, of that I'm sure.
I would like to know what happened to the WWII vets AND their children (the baby boomers). I think many Vets had what we today would call CFIDS ... but that definition didn't come about until 1989. That Vets' children could have been affected, also, from the chemical poisoning/s Vets had
For those with autoimmune issues, I believe they need to Avoid 2-butoxyethanol exposures AND consider glyconutrient food supplements
I also think that it was 'the other chemical' in the mix that was the primary harm to the Vietnam Vets ... and that they should 'look like' the WWII vets, 'health-wise' These Issues?
The proof of 2-butoxyethanol harm is the FATIGUE of CFIDS
