2004

It's 2004 already, a brand new year and a brand new start.

It's been a while since I last updated 'My Story', and a lot's happened, most of which good.

Christmas this (last) year was great! I spent christmas healthy and happy, as did my family. I was worried about christmas, as the previous year had been awful, mainly down to my good arl buddy M.E. Yet, christmas turned out great. I spent christmas day with my Nannie and Granddad John, Mumma, Dad and Sister, Hel (who thankfully is full of health after a term at uni). Christmas lunch was great, and we all slept throughout the afternoon - i'm sure Mumma poisioned us! Every year we alternate between which house we visit, this year it was my Uncle Mark's were we spent the evening, with all of the Morgan's (my dad's side).

A lot of family was there, It was strange, it felt like my first christmas in two years, but it felt good. We drank ... lots! Chatted and messed about. By half 11 i'd be taken away by the kids (my 5 and 9 year old cousins Grace and Holly, Cousin Lauren whos 13, and Charlotte 17), for about and hour and a half, we sang, danced, and made a mess to get this ... pop idol!!! **shock**

Of course the next morning, i didn't feel so great, hangover or M.E, i wasn't sure, but i needed a hefty amount of paracetomol to get me going. Boxing day every year, we visit my Nannie and Granddad, parents to my Mumma. I suppose its tradition, but we do it every year. We eat christmas dinner cooked by Nanna and Granddad, which is always boss, and everybody gets very drunk. It's the same nearly every year, we eat, drink, open presents, watch films, get drunk and pass out. Yet, its always great, we all have a laugh, its boss.

Somehow, I was beginning to think i was superwoman, I hadn't been knocked by M.E, I was doing great and I felt it too! The Morgan's had yet ANOTHER party, on the 27th. My Auntie Jackie and Uncle Bernie and Cousin Becca, came down from York. My auntie Jackie has bee nquite seriously ill this year, so it was a 'welcome home' party for her, which she enjoyed. Again we all sang and danced, I just found myself smiling all the time. These people had believed in me, and we were celebrating the fact we were family. And we are one heck of one too!!

New year came, and orginally i had no plans, but my Bestest Buddie Queenie, flew to the rescue, and I went to her party. This party is now offically legendary. We were seriously seriously seriously Bevvied. Walked around with big feather boas and wands (pink) singing to tina turner, dancing to some weird song. It was class. Come midnight we were all overly bladdered, and somehow ended up at somebody elses party, only to be taken back to Laura's, were all the other party ended up! I won't let any secrets out, but by God that was like THE bestest party ever!!!

Thankya Queenie!!!! :o)

So new year started great, and continues to do so. I haven't been too well of late, had septic tonsillitis about 5 and a half ish weeks ago, maybe more. Then felt a little ill about 3weeks ago. I was under the whether, and needed to take extra days of too recover. Since then, ive been off for two weeks, recovering from flu, and now tonsillitis. Ok i thought, i've got through this before with no extra meds, i'll be ok. Errr, Lu no you won't. So a visit to the doctors it was, i quite like my GP, hes sound. When i was suffering with 'asthma' he'd spend lengthly periods sorting me out. He determined i once again had tonsillitis, and i had to take 8days of antibiotics, well penicillin ... ohhh the joy.

Two years ive gone without antibiotics, so my system wasnt overloaded again, i was warned id feel funny, and i have done. Rashes, dizzyness, vomiting ... eugh penicillin isnt that nice!

I think most of you read the 'email' sent out by my cousin, i've been under the weather once again ... great! A bug has been flyin garound, it usually lasts 24 hours, its a vomiting bug ... but due to the lowered immnue system, i had it for two weeks!! After the bug disappeared, a cold came, and with the cold, long long nosebleeds, and now the vomiting again!

It's been half term this week, and its been really really sound. I've spent the majority of it with friends, something i couldn't do last year ... but i also spent three days down south with my older sister.

Its sunday today, we had a long four hour journey up from Cambridge yesterday, and i went out with my mate after ... lol! I just plan on chilling a bit today and then going to visit me granddad. Anywho, I best go, i need food.

Hope ya's are all AWAP. (hehehehe .... ayme taking over!)

Heylooooo!! It's been a while since i last updated - naughty moi! The past few months have been great, my M.E just seems to improve and improve. I walk quite a lot now, so im eating loads ... for energy!! I visited the M.E consultant not so long ago ... he is over the moon, and i can come of my tablets!! :o):o)! Everything seems great, although what with so many infections of my throat; im seeing an ENT specialist and having my tonsills out, they think that there maybe a chance i may get even better afterwards!!! They also are looking at my nose and ears, as i have problems with both ... and maybe need operations on those too!! ***IN THE WARS!***

Lately i haven't been bubbly and happy, quite depressed actually, thankfully it passed and now im doing much better thanx to some great friends and family for some much needed support. I think now i realise im recovering and its great! I realise though, that some people are not so fortunate ... regardless of my health, people with M.E always have a place in my heart. I felt the way they feel, i shared their pain, if anybody ever tell me M.E is in the mind, i'd probably laugh, delusional gits!! M.E IS TOTALLY REAL!

Big shout out to Roz .... YOUUUU AND MEEEEEE ALWAYS! Roz also has M.E (she's great) - shes been doing good lately too, had lil upset streak like ,myself but pulled through strong ... we can!!

LOVE YA ALL

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLU X
