2005 WARYAMMER PAINTING CONTEST RULES
2005 SUBMISSION RULES -
All entries must be submitted by 02/15/06. Entries can be submitted any time before then, as well, and in fact it's encouraged. -
Only Waryammer members may enter this contest. If you want to enter, but are not a member of the Waryammer forums, join up! Go to: http://forums.waryammer.com/ . -
Entries can be submitted in either of the following ways: -
email a .jpg or .bmp photo to FatherNurgle at fastball24@msn.com (Make sure you include your Waryammer nickname, the name of the entry, and the category you are entering). - upload your photo directly from your hard drive into the contest folders on FatherNurgle's website (http://groups.msn.com/WarhammerMiniatureGalleries). If you choose this option you MUST include your Waryammer nickname and the title of your entry when you upload the photo (for instance, "Plaguebearer - by FatherNurgle"). Uploading is very simple and instructions are on the site.
- Your entry MUST include the following required three pieces of information (1) Your Waryammer nickname, e.g. "FatherNurgle," (2) The title of your work, e.g. "Plaguebearer," and (3) The category in which it is competing, e.g. "Single Fantasy Miniature"
- You may submit multiple angles of one miniature, as long as they are edited into ONE file.
2005 CATEGORIES One winner will be selected from each of the following six categories. You can view the submissions in each category by hitting the links: -

2005 RESTRICTIONS -
You must be an active member of waryammer.com to enter. To join, go to : http://forums.waryammer.com/ . -
You may enter up to one photo in each of the six categories. Only one photo is allowed per entry, although you may edit the photo to include two angles or a closeup, if you wish. -
All your entries must never have won an award in any other contest. -
To enter in the BEGINNER CATEGORY you must never have entered a painting contest before, and you must consider yourself to be a painter with modest skills (that is, unlikely to be able to compete to win in the other categories). -
No single contestant can win more than three categories.
2005 JUDGING -
Votes will be collected and tabulated after 02/15/06. -
Any interested waryammer members may vote for the winners. If you submit an entry, you MUST vote in order for your submission to be considered. -
Members can NOT vote for their own submissions. -
First-place votes are worth 3 points, second-place votes are worth 2 points, and third-place votes are worth 1 point. The entry with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, the entry with the most first-place votes will win.
2005 AWARDS Awards may be added over the course of the contest. IF ANYONE ELSE WANTS TO DONATE PRIZES, let FatherNurgle know by emailing him at fastball24@msn.com. -
The winners in all categories will receive online recognition in the form of a special title ("Waryammer Painting Master") and graphic (purity seals) attached to all their Waryammer posts. -
To the winner of the Best Squad/Unit: A Warmachine faction box (donated by gnollman) -
To the winner of the Best Beginner Miniature: 1 40k Deathwing Terminator with Chainfist, 1 Blood Bowl Hthark the Unstoppable (Bull Centaur), 1 set of 2 Chainmail Ghouls, and 1 Chainmail Crazed Minotaur Cultist (donated by FatherNurgle).
