TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE
OCTOBER 27, 2004

This week's featured photo is actually a series of photos taken during the total lunar eclipse on October 27, 2004. Using a 8" SCT and a Nikon 100 with Fuji Provia 100 film, ICAS astrophotographer Andy Nielsen captured the entire eclipse from start to finish. The photos were then combined into a single image using Adobe Photoshop.
