Panguingue or Pan is played with 8 Decks of Cards with no 8's, 9's, or 10's. The Object of the game is to meld 11 cards and go out. Players earn chips for certain combinations and get paid again if they put the hand out. The game is fascinating because the best hand does not always win and any hand could become a potential gold mine! The origin of the game is believed to be Filipino with the word Pan meaning "Bread." Pan uses 8 "Spanish Decks" (Decks stripped of 8's, 9's and 10's). The Deck of Cards looks like a giant loaf of Bread -- hence, the name. Come and Watch and Play...the Water is Fine....
