Free backgrounds organized by category but tough to browse since the site lacks thumbnails. They make up for it a bit by allowing you to click on an arrow and cycle through all the offerings one at a time and view what a full page of that tile looks like. Just be wary of affiliate offers, any poup's, etc. This place has tried a variety of "money making" models and less than trustworthy sponsors.

I don't think a short blurb can do Glenda's Group justice. It's an MSN Group, so it's safe from nastyware and foolish popup annoyances. It's current, it's full of goodies. While devoted heavily to web sets for MSN Group sites, there's also lots of backgrounds and graphic links.

Start Looking Here First! A very well done tutorial site. PSP Links.com pays attention to fixing errors and maintaining its growing database of tutorials worth reading. In a sad world where every cheap dog includes the words "PSP" or "Brushes" in their porn sites just to get hits, this was a God send of sensibility. Thanks to Ronnie-of-NJ for pointing it out to me again.
