British is Bullshit
Cymru is Cool

Cymuned, the Guardians of the Welsh Heartlands, are right to call for the de-anglicanisation of Cymru. The "British" (aka English Crown) are hated throughout the civilised world for their barbarism and colonisation of small nations. It's only right that the people of Cymru are allowed to call the names of their homes by the native language that has been used in Cymru for over a thousand years. I come from Llangynwyd- not the Monastic Enclosure of Saint Cynwyd! It's near Maesteg, not The Fair Field.
Opposed to this is arch-anglophile-David Davies- a racist bigot who, if there were justice under English law, would be arrested for incitment to racial hatred. As it happens, he is an opportunist Tory who jumps on any bandwagon that will further his (so far dull) political career. David Davies is of the same ilk as William Williams, an English MP in 1850 who introduced the torture and degrading punishment of Cymru's children if their spoke the language of their home- Cymraeg. Any child speaking a foreign language in school i.e. Cymraeg, was forced to wear a sign around their neck saying "WELSH NOT" and at the end of the day they would received a severe beating from a cruel cane.
We suspect that the people of Cymru wish to choose their own destiny, not that of servitude and slavery to David's beloved English Crown who will, no doubt, one day reward his loyalty to this foreign power with a peerage. The WELSH NOT TORTURE was introduced as the English Empire feared the growth of Cymraeg speaking chapels, unions and institutes that were fiercely independent. If these associations could run their own affairs, why should they not run their own nation? Thus the answer was ethnic cleansing of the people of Cymru so that one day, the Crown planned, we could say "Ahh, we're all English now".
Thank God for Cymuned's semi-radical proposals which are not only practical but just. It's about time we threw off the cultural chains of the stupid Ruling English who introduced new names because they were too dense to pronounce/remember the proper names!
Cymuned spokesman Aran Jones said, "We think it is very realistic to get rid of the name Wales and always use Cymru. "At a time when the Assembly Government has decided our nation should become bilingual - meaning that in the longer term the aim is for everyone to be able to speak Welsh and English - we think it appropriate that a sense of communal belonging should be fostered. However loyal people may feel to 'Wales', the fact is that the name is an artificial construction that was forced on our country.
"It comes from a Latin root meaning 'foreigner', as does the term 'Walloons' in Belgium. The key point is that it's not a very nice thing for us to swallow.
"'Cymru' is the historical name given to our nation by its own people and it is right that it should be the sole official name of the country now."
"Given the choice between using native original names and others imposed from outside, it surely makes sense to use the original."
It does, Aran! Fe Godwn Ni Eto!
