The community and leadership of Welsh Republican Comment extends solidarity and fraternal greetings to republicans throughout the world and all people of good will, both those imprisoned and those on active duty in the field. We remember especially the families of those who have lost dear ones in the illegal aggression upon the citizens of Iraq and those who have loved ones incarcerated in English and American jails. The courage and fortitude of these women and men is an example of true heroism and inspires younger generations of republicans to fight for freedom’s beautiful cause.
Since ancient times we have been a free, community focussed people. Our laws, ancient customs and traditions, as well as the stories and poems of our bards have re-told the glory of the celtic welsh life. Neither the cruel swords of the Anglo-Saxons which drove us from our lands in North and East Prydain, nor the immoral Statue of Rhuddlan of 1284 could remove our right to nationhood and national self determination The annexation of Cymru to “be hence forth and forever annexed as a part of the realm of England” makes Cymru the oldest and most viciously oppressed of England’s colonies. Whilst former colonies bask under the sun of freedom and opportunity, Cymru remains shackled to a decaying and discredited form of government that leads her along the road of poverty into National oblivion. The people of our land are now the poorest in the UK, with even the North of England and the Occupied Six Counties being wealthier than the Cymry/Welsh.
The Anglo-Saxon Coalition continues its relentless occupation of Iraq. The real war on terror is at home against the British Empire. This is the war our young patriots should be engaging in. We call upon all Welsh mercenaries in the Crown’s army to lay down their weapons, return home to Wales. No more Welsh blood for England's torture and terror regime! Come home boys, come home!
Cymru’s day is dawning. We have a war on REAL terror to fight. We have freedom to win for our children and prosperity for our nation.
