The God

The God is that of Pan, who appears as a goat with the torso of a human male. He has great curving horns, wooly legs and loves to play upon the pipe.

He is a very sensual creature, the Lord of the Isle, wandering among the fae folk and leading in songs and dances. He guards those who freely express their love, hearts, minds, and voices. His temple is the Earth, it's walls the forest, ceiling the open sky.

Call upon him at the Wishing Pool if ever you need is guidance in matters of the body and soul.

The Goddess

The Goddess is the Lady of the Isle, who guards over and guides our lives with her gentle presence. She appears to the inhabitants in three forms: that of a young beautiful creature, a midwife, and an elder femme depending on who seeks her.

Hestia (hes-tee-uh), her real name, represents personal security and the sacred duty of hospitality. She is a most charitable creature, with the reputation of always being gentle and upright. She is  the keeper and protector of private things, she has no throne but evermore tends the hearth fire. The hearth is a symbol of life and the home, as well as her altar.

Her worship is carried out over the hearth and in prayers. You may call upon her kindness at the Wishing Pool.

Special Abilities

To deserving members, occasionally the God/dess will give a special ability, such as power over water, fire, weather, special/extra characters and options etc.

No, you can't have special abilities without earning them. We're hard nosed in this. Sorry, but excellent players shouldn't need these, poor players won't know how to use them, and wonderous players will be able to make the game all the more fun with them. Them being an ability of some sort, of course. Characters don't get ablities when they join, for instance a unicorn can't heal people, a wolf can't shapeshift into a human, ect, ect.

Ways To Gain Special Abilities:

Having fifteen babies will guarantee a Special Ability to the character of your choice. The babies must come from the same character but the power doesn't have to go to that character, it can go to any other one you pick out. Why? Cause 15 is a freaking lot. All those babies don't have to be active or played, but my god, someone who breeds that much is extraordinary as is.

Winning fifteen battles, each against a different character, will guarantee a Special Ability to that character. I mean, come on, someone has anger managment issues and they just messed up 15 other people. That's talent right there.

Exceptional Role-Playing. Kind of random based madness, this one.

If you help out a lot. Like if you answer people's questions or help people make pictures or handle the site (with permission!) for a while. Extra ordinary kindness deserves an extra ordinary reward.

If you're a leader with more than twenty active members. I mean, you have to have some way of controling that horde. 0_o

If you write us an essay explaining, upon joining the character you wish to receive the Ability, just why that character would need said Ability we may grant the gift.

Occasionally at the Wishing Pool you can gain temporary or even permanate Special Abilities.

Also, babies from parents who have Special Abilities may get the same or different Special Ability, simply from having the linage.

Whatever else I can think of.
When something else is thought of, then this page will be updated.
