The Babylonians.
The following pages will soon contain a little taster of the fascinating world of some of the oldest Gods, Goddesses and myths of the Mesopotamians regions. I have entitled it the Babylonians because they are particular favourites, but there will also be information about the Akkadians, Assyrians and Sumerians. Over the next few months I hope to put on pages detailing the Gods and Goddesses themselves, some of the more alluring creation myth tablets and also the "oldest spell in the world" found written on a tablet of stone as much of the babylonians wisdom was. Some of it is not exactly "bed time reading" but that can only be a good thing, tis often best to view all sides of magickal history in order to gain a polarity and balance, which, ultimately, is what we, as practitioners of magick should strive to achieve.
