Our Vision
The Women's School
based in New Orleans, Louisiana
is a school without walls which has been formed for the sole purpose of supporting women in their personal self-development.
And hopefully we will help consolidate this avant-garde community of women teachers, support the growth of a city-wide womens' student body and promote an already existing creative and inspiring environment of teaching and wisdom being transmitted from one woman to another. All courses are created and managed solely by your instructors.
What began in early September of 2005 as an active local community of talented New Orleans women teachers has now become the largest school without walls in the USA. When Katrina came to town, our teachers were sent out all over the globe and like gypsies the spirit of this new project is being carried like a pregnant gene to each and every community in which we each reside.
