| With many many tears & a huge ache in my heart, I write that my beautiful black girl-my precious loving girl-my expert Hospice Therapy Pet-my constant companion has left for the Rainbow Bridge after a extremely short terminal illness. For this to happen so very suddenly is devastating to say the least.
Yesterday at 11am she was fine, barked at me to hurry with lunch, ate well & was pretty much her silly self, by 1pm she was on the floor unable to move barely able to breathe from her pain and her gums pure white. I rushed her to the Vet where tests were run including x-rays and the words untreatable were spoken.
Never to have my girl accompany me to visit Hospice patients, never to have her bark talk to me about her day, never to have her tattle on her siblings, never to have her sleep next to me, never to feel her tender kisses is overwhelming heartbreaking. She was a special gift entering my life many years ago, one that will never be repeated...
Will everyone please light a candle for my beautiful black girl as she joins Travis & Taylor, the many patients who's lives she touched, at the Bridge for the most grand reunion...Most importantly PLEASE everyone hug your hounds at every opportunity, we will never know what tomorrow may bring.
Mourning dearly the sudden loss of our funny, back talking, sassy, loving Winnie...
