GROUP GUIDELINES AND
STATEMENT OF ETHICS

REVISED SEPTEMBER 2008

WELCOME TO OUR  FRIENDLY LITTLE GROUP.     WE VALUE YOUR INPUT!

This is a copyright-aware zone providing a friendly environment for the discussion of original thoughts, memories and experiences, creative writing and photography.

We strongly discourage 'snags & tags', 'bumping' and similar practices.

Members are asked to confirm acceptance of our guidelines listed below.

The site is strictly G-rated and any 'adult' material will be deleted.

.

OUR GUIDELINES

    1. Wordsweb Forum is a meeting place for like minds and a showcase for
      original words and pictures relating to any topic fit for family viewing;
    2. We ask all members to respond fairly and politely to other members'
      observations on breaking news and offer constructive comment on
      creative submissions where appropriate;
    3. Our aim is to encourage all people to participate at whatever level they
      feel most comfortable and therefore do not offer public criticism but
      we do have a number of HELP boards for private reference.
    4. We strive to keep the site uncluttered and easy to navigate, and ask
      members to avoid posting
      fussy borders, confusing backgrounds, flashing lights and other distractions;
    5. Photographs are particularly welcome, subject to UK and international
      c
      opyright laws, and please remember that if a picture is worth a thousand words, a good caption makes it worth a million.
    6. Copyright law does not allow us to accept any material apparently copied from elsewhere without full disclosure and within the 'permitted exceptions'.  Illegally copied items
      will be removed.

Every club or organization needs rules, and although we prefer to call them guidelines we respectfully ask you not to join if you find ours too restrictive
