(RIBBONs) Presidential Unit Citation, Outstanding Air Force Unit w/V (valor), Republic of Vietnam Unit Citation for Gallantry w/Palm. All awarded to the 19thTASS (Tactical Air Support Squadron) of which was my home unit while attached to the 1st Inf Div.
THE FIRST INF DIV HAD ITS START IN THE FIRST WORLD WAR IN FRANCE IN 1918. ITS HAD A PROUD HISTORY THRU OUT THE YEARS THAT FOLLOWED INCLUDING THE 2ND WORLD WAR, VIETNAM, AND DESERT STORM. IT IS STILL AN ACTIVE INFANTRY DIVISION READY TO SERVE AGAIN ANYWHERE ANYTIME.  | The Brothers Of Nam SiteRing
