The Makeup Artist Workshop, taught by Candace Corey ww.candacecorey.com , is in it's 5th year of teaching makeup artists how to move their careers forward. The 2006 classes will be bigger and better! The business sections have been moved to a separate class, and more skill enhancing techniques have been added. If you are looking for a makeup class to just sit and watch demos....then this ISN'T the class for your! This 2 day HANDS ON workshop provides challenges to help you develop your skills with makeup and help you increase your ability to create as an artist.

 

You will work on models, of various ethnic backgrounds and genders, to create a variety of looks under the direction of Candace Corey. She will guide you into perfecting your work and helping you to develop your own style as a makeup artist. Each day will include a photo shoot to capture your hard work, so you can begin to build  your own portfolio.

2nd DAY:      FASHION & GLAMOR Picking your tools and caring for them properly Learning to create a look around a "story" Thinking "out of the box" to create looks with non traditional things Using tape to change and enhancing a model's look Learn to block brows Reshaping lips to create a fashion impact Create various brow shapes Create a period look Creating sexy pouting glamorous lips Creating the cat eye with false lashes Learn to create a smoky eye Learn to create a sweaty look Learn to create a greasy dirty look Learn to create glowing skin for the body
