CFIDS and Children
By the year 2000, most people had heard of the disease Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). Unfortunately, most people still are not aware that children can also get this disease. Those who are aware don't realize the severity of the disease or the impact that it makes on a child's life. The young people with CFS (YPWCs) must sometimes face ridicule and disbelief from the people they naturally turn to for help (parents, physicians, educators, and friends). It is my mission to raise awareness about the disease to lighten the load for the children.
