Alexei has chosen to go professional now, but he's keeping very busy! Between skating in pro tours like Stars On Ice and Champions On Ice, Alexei has been coaching. Two recent students he has worked with are the reigning European champion and World silver medalist Brian Joubert of France, and the World Junior champion Andrei Griazev of Russia. Both students credit Alexei with helping them to improve their art and up the stakes on what they can accomplish on the ice, especially in those signature jumps and footwork we all have come to love from Alexei Yagudin. Alexei has said before that he would "like to try" coaching, and it must be said that he has succeeded in that endeavor as he has in every other in his life.

Griazev is benefiting from Tatiana's coaching as well, and with hers and Alexei's help, I have high hopes for this young skater in the future.
