Enviroment Friendly & Anti Plastics

I graduated from Dalian University of Science & Technology in 1998, awarded with two degrees,

BEng in Chemical Engineering and BA in English. While I was still a student in the university, I

worked for Mobil company for marketing survey as a SWAT team member for about one year's

time.

Shortly after graduation, I worked for DOLE company as an interpreter to two houmorous, respectful

Philippine Engineers in Dole's newly and was being established TsingTao vegetable and fruit

processing factory. At this period, I smoothed my English and tried to learn how to be a gentleman

and how to be houmorous and happy. This job only lasted a month, since I got a job offer from HSBC,

the home of my dreaming banking career.

At End of 1998, I started working for HSBC Dalian Branch in Credit Card Department as the

only credit card sales representative managing the credit card business for the three provinces in

Northeast China. This started the very first full time job in my life.

One year later, I moved on to SsangYong Corporation(Korean), engaged in international trading of

Chemicals and Mineral Products (Like PP, PE, PET, MgSO4, TDI, Soda Ash, etc.) for about two

years' time.

Until Aug. of 2001, I came to Oxford to join my wife who was studying for her PhD in Oxford

University on Tissue Engineering. After her PhD and one year working for Oxford University as a

research fellow in Begbroke Science Park, she now has started a new job in Engineering Dept in

Imperial college.

I worked in The Works, the discount chain book shops for nearly two years in Oxford Cornmarket

Street Branch (10/2001-08/2003) before I moved to work for Health Care Libraries of Oxford

University based in Radcliffe Infirmary and John Radcliffe Hospital (08/2003-10/2004). I resigned

from the post in Document Supply Team in JRH because I want to fully focus myself onto my study,

as stated in the following.

I then studied as a full time MSc student of Oxford Brookes University, in Business and Enterprise

subject which aims to cultivate and train business managers for the future's SMEs. This course

involves innovation & Creativity, Economics, Organization learning and knowledge management,

Entrepreneurship and Business Plan. We were divided into a couple of small groups to create an

innovative idea and try to set up a profitable business. Our another main task was to write up a

business plan to attract investment.
