12.12.02: (Greenguide 12.12.02) Doctor in the House

As one doctor leaves, another signs up to continue the good work All Saints' Ward 17. Melbourne actor Chris Gabardi, presently on stage in the Melbourne Theatre Company's Laughter on the 23rd Floor and soon to star in its 2003 season opener, Cloud Nine has joined the cast of All Saints, replacing perennial favourite Erik Thompson. Thompson, who has just filmed his final scenes in the Seven soapie-drama, bows out in April. Gabardi will be off to a flying start - rehearsing for All Saints in Sydney during the day and flying home to tread the boards.
