CODE OF CONDUCT

Each member is responsible for knowing the rules of this community.  Ignorance is no excuse.

1) There will be no flaming, bashing, name calling, or any other thing that would cause embarrassment to other members.  Any posts considered rude. disrespectful or offensive by management will be subject to being immediately deleted.  This applies to references to other groups and their members as well.....absolutely no bashing, bad mouthing, name calling or any other rude or inconsiderate comments or statements will be allowed.  First offense will be dealt with by receiving a warning via e-mail.  Anything further will be subject to automatic banning from the group.  This will be strictly enforced with no exceptions.  Please think before you post.  Do not name members of other groups.  If they are not a member in this group, do not use their name.

2) No spamming!  It's okay to promote other groups here, with the exception of RPG groups, but no spamming, which means posting/promoting non-horse-related items or business' opportunities, etc.

3) Please use appropriate language for a "family-oriented" group.  We have members of all ages, including children.  No profanity will be allowed.

4) There will be NO copying of anything from this site without the expressed consent of the author (member).  Anyone who copies anything from this site (text, messages, pictures, graphics, or anything else posted by anyone else) will be subject to being immediately banned from this site and turned into MSN for copyright infringement.  This also applies to the posting of any private materials from another source without the express permission of the owner/author.  If it's not yours (you didn't write it, create it, or take the photo yourself) and you found it on the internet, or in another group, then it is NOT yours for the "taking". 

5) This is an Arabian Group; however, it is perfectly permissable to discuss other breeds PROVIDING that it is done in a respectful manner.  There will be absolutely NO breed bashing.  Many of us own other breeds as well as Arabians.  All disciplines are welcome, and we shall not discriminate or show disrespect to those whose interests are different from our own.

6) The "Code of Conduct" can be changed at any given time without notice to members; however, a general announcement will usually be made.

7) Please post all subjects to the correct forum/board.  If not, your post can/will be deleted by management.

 

POSTING REQUIREMENTS

We want this board to be a success.  As part of that, we ask that you post and/or reply on a regular basis to keep your membership active.  New members must post within 48 hours of joining.  Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your membership.  We understand that things happen, so if you have a problem meeting this requirement, please let us know and we will make a note of it.

1) As a member of this site, please respond to as many posts as you can.  By doing this, you are showing the other members that you are interested in what the;y have to share and encouraging THEM to be interested in YOUR posts!  If we all do this, there will be no one left wondering why their posts hare been ignored.  It is not right that some great posts go unnoticed and when this happens, it tends to turn people away from our group.

2) REMEMBER first and foremost.....EVERYONE is different!  We all have our own thoughts, opinions and ways of doing things.  Nobody is "right" OR "wrong"!  This is a place to share our lives with our beloved Arabian Horses, as well as anything else we feel like sharing with others.  Be kind and respectful to one another. 

        Disrespect to another member of this board will result in one warning, thereafter, being banned. 

        Crossposting will be allowed ONLY with permission from the author of the post!  Please do NOT take any part of this site and post it anywhere else.  If you think something is worthy of being shared, please ask the author for permission.  Any violation of this will be dealt with by being banned immediately with NO warning.  No exceptions.

WE ALL HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR TIME WITH US!  BY OBSERVING OUR RULES, BEING CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS' FEELINGS, WE WILL MAKE THIS GROUP AN ATTRACTIVE AND WELCOME PLACE FOR EVERYONE.  PEOPLE OFTEN "SURF" OTHER SITES.  HOPEFULLY, WE CAN MAKE OUR GROUP SUCH A PLACE THAT THEY WILL WANT TO JOIN US.  IT'S OKAY TO DISAGREE, VOICE VARYING OPINIONS, JUST REMEMBER TO BE RESPECTFUL
