Lilia Luján    lilialujan@hotmail.com 93 446 05 62 y 64 70 32 971       http://groups.msn.com/artealquimia/shoebox.msnw This is an organic work, consequentially alive; where matter and colour play a relevant part. Visual textures have, practically, been replaced for the tactile ones. Clarified by an exuberant simbology and figuration. Her work thematic, an almost irreverent mixture of provocative combinations non exempt of a subtle erotic aureole, is able to capture, from the first moment, the observer’s undivided attention. "I work without a necessarily preconceived idea, basically, my craft is for me a cathartic exercise ". "The fact of never having traced an artistic limit, has allowed me to experiment with the most diverse possibilities, therefore, I use a great variety of elements and materials like acrylics, oils, inks, enamels, sands, marble dusts, wood, metals, fabrics and paper.” The fact of never having classified herself in any sort, discipline or deliberate subject, gives her the freedom to allow, with greater honesty, a matter dialogue between harmony, balance and beauty. "The transcending possibility through my work deeply moves me... and if a day comes when I dislike my own work, or simply feel unsatisfied, then, I’ll just stop.”

Lilia Luján(México, D.F.1965) Self-taught multidisciplinary artist, has participated in more than 100 individual and collective exhibitions in different countries from America and Europe. With a copious craft, which includes painting, sculpture, object-art, jewelry design, textiles, frames and lamps among other decorative pieces. And Museum  poeta Javier de la Rosa (Gran canaria , España), Museum of the Americas- Miami (USA), and Claudio León Sempere-Museum of Fine Arts (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
