A Groovy Get Together offers in home private cooking lessons in addition to personal chef services.  If you like to cook and want to learn something new or want to cook for a special occassion but have no skills in the kitchen, this is the PERFECT opportunity for you.  As a "retired" preschool and kindergarten teacher, I enjoy helping others through the learning process.  Make no mistake, however, my classes are not for those wanting to sit around and watch!! You will be touching, tasting, smelling, cutting, dicing, and cooking through the whole experience.

For 2008, we are changing our class lineup to feature some fresh new ideas.

Living Local-Cooking Global- Location Location Location.  That's what this series of classes is all about.  Each class is based on a different location globally.  Learn how all ethnic foods are related in one way or another to other ethnic foods.  Instruction on ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques used for that specific part of the world.  This is your ticket to traveling around the world without ever leaving your kitchen.
