(click on image above to play music)     I am a Marine Wife!  We are a special breed of women.  We are strong, and though we have husbands, we are forced to live in many ways as though we are single and single mothers.   And though we are often left behind, we stand strong.  We hold our families together and do it all with a smile on our face.  We cry alone and we sleep alone.  We bear children and raise them for the most part alone.  It is a tough job, one that not everyone can handle.  We do the best we can on our husband's minimal salary.  Yet, somehow we find strength and we find that through our fellow Marine wives, our friends and our families.  Yes, it takes a strong man to be a Marine, but it takes an even stronger woman to be his wife!   "Come Home Soon" by SHeDaisy watch the video here... http://www.shedaisy.com/wm/audio/chs_tmo/chs_tmo.wma   "The Rock" By Amy-Jayne here the song here... http://www.amyjayne.com/   "Baby Come Back Home" by Carly Goodwin listen to the song here... http://carlygoodwin.com/   Here are a few poems I would like to share with you all.   The Marine Wife's Life   The Marine wife has so much to bear, She's everything at once, no one could compare, When God made her, he had perfection in mind, For nowhere on Earth is another of her kind,   She leads a life not many choose to, For her job is the hardest in the military to do, She is courageous and strong, one would say made of steel, But way deep down is a heart that can feel,   She stands by her husband, so proud and so tall, And waits many nights by the phone for a call, She's Mommy and Daddy all rolled into one, She'll never rest easy until her job's done,   She sits all alone and in silence she weeps, Did I do a good job, is my family okay? Through deployments, and for some combat zones, you have inspired, cared for and stood behind your Marines. You are an example to wives everywhere. You chose the hardest job in the world. No word that I could ever write, can ever give you the full credit you deserve, nor can they ever thank you enough. We Love You. When it comes to the married Marines, you are the strength that keeps us going. You are the driving force that helps us keep our sanity in an insane world.
