still dj-ing hard..lol, although im not at the fleece anymore, but have lots of work @ durham uni and the ramside hall keeping me busy, met up with my oldest pal the other day 1st time for a few years, we were bessy mates thru school so had a lot of catching up to do. Also just been to Devon for a few days which was lovely, we stayed in a log cabin with jaccuzi, sauna and spa, mint!!

we just got back from santa ponsa, which i highly recommend, very lively and very irish, i learned the words to "fields of athenrye" lol, i put some photos in the gallery but tio get an idea of what it was like have a look at this
I've had to stop doing so much, coz im busting a gut, and ruining my karma, lol, so iv'e dropped the "Alex" a pub i was doing a few disco's in, and told the Ramside i can't do the xmas season this year, Im gonna concentrate on the Marriott hotel, the fleece pub and my mobile's.
I wish i could split myself in 7, as loads of people want discos, or Karaoke nights, and it's getting more hectic the nearer xmas gets.
The gig went well, sort of, a lot of my family and friends turned up, and made the occasion a great one for me!! but the commitment and time needed for practice etc is too much for me - so i've left.
Voodoo are playing our 1st gig at the golden fleece, silksworth sunderland this wednesday night 8.45pm ish
saturday july 21st
It's still raining, its been wet for months now almost as long as Rhianna has been No1 with that damned umbrella, Voodoo are just about ready to gig, here's a link to a page Terry has made. http://www.terryvee.furtopia.org/voodoo.html My disco has been really busy lately and has taken me to Gosforth golf club, Newcastle rugby club, Durham university and the ussual Ramside hall and local clubs, also i worked in sunderland town centre recently an 18th b/day in "Rush"
Tues
I was up at 7am for work, although it was very hard to get out of bed, we had our third rehersal with the band, we decided ion a name "Voodoo" and played a few new songs, suffragette city, summer 69 and ruby, it's all comming together nicely
monday
Bank holiday, I am absoulutley shattered, slept in till 11am, im too old for this late night lifestyle....lol although ill be doing it again tonight, as i'm at the fleece again.
Sunday
I got some DIY jobs done today, then dj'd at the fleece, their was a fight, but overall a good night was had by most. I'm back again tomorrow as its a bank hol weekend.
sat 26th may
We got up late, bathed coffeed and made our way home after taking all the bathroom chemicals from malmaison, I had a few jobs to do but not enough time to do them, so i prioritised - got disco packed into car ready for Gareth's wedding do. off to Durham for early set-up 3.30pm, started at 5pm, and dj'd till 1am -we had a great night the couple were over the moon, and i got lots of possitive comments from the party. didnt get home till after 2pm, So im very tired, but it was worth it.
Fri 25th may
Ive been ligging and gigging again, took Bren to see The Who on friday night and stayed in the Malmaison hotel, as its out 10th wedding aniversary too. We had guest passes thanx to Terry slesser, and the band members were staying at the same hotel (planned). So we didnet get to bed till after 3am chatting and drinking.
Its took me 4 weeks to update the site, i tried a few times but words failed me, as Iv'e never experienced grief before.
Read the guestbook, on the Beckett site to get an idea of what a great and lovely man Alan was, i feel honoured to have been his friend, and proud that he taught me to play the drums.
