Monday 18th February 2008 - Curry & Indian Games Night
Congratulations to the Newbold Comyn Arms on winning the CAMRA HOW Community Pub of the Year.
As part of CAMRA's Community Pubs Week, the pub provided two lovely curries (chicken & vegetarian) with rice for a fiver. Eight or nine of the BoardSilly players had a curry. Most people had it before they started playing but Steve & I had it later during the game, plates well away from the board to avoid accidents.

As the only player who had read the Ken Follet book (15 years ago while spending the summer in Ibiza) John had a clear advantage which he used to full effect - it is spelt B-e-g-i-n-n-e-r-s-L-u-c-k.
