Question:  As a BT survivor with a family I see a significant amount of effort being directed towards research and cures for this terrible disease. This is great but I don't ever see any funding, resources etc. dealing with quality of life issues.

Personally, I wake up everyday and force myself out of bed to try and keep a roof over my families head. I have no energy to enjoy things anymore. I've been plagued with depression trying to keep up in the field I once excelled and have lost many friends due to the immediate side-effects of the surgery.

It's been 7 years and nothing seems to work. The neurologists and neuro-surgeons I've dealt with have no concern for quality of life.

Are there any organizations that deal with quality of life issues after surviving a BT. Things like job re-training, ideas for working with your employer, job coaches etc.

Thanks in advance.

ganglioglioma rt temporal/frontal lobe.

I only reply to certain individuals, because quite frankly, the medications are more important to people who are in that business ... than other answers, such as you seek

Could you possibly have FATIGUE and MEMORY LOSS, too?

as well as depression ... there is an odd assortment of symptoms that go along with Chronic Fatigue Syndromes after FLU ... of which brain tumors are a aside effect

NOT the cause of all that ails you (Although you & people focusing on brain tumors blame everything on the brain tumor, because you don't know what else to blame it on)

Suspect Ethylene Glycol MonoBUTYL Ether aka 2-butoxyethanol for all of these   www.valdezlink.com/same.htm

Do you or a parent have the CFIDS symptoms?  CFIDS Pattern

Listen to your body ... sniffles?  Diarrhea?  Farting?  examples of low grade exposure to EGBE, but exposure all the same.  TO FLU

In case this flu is the chemical exposure, this is info I would like to share with his doctors

For sure do not get any more exposure to this chemical.

Baby boomer generation wilil be rampant with tumors of every kind because of parents poisoned prior to their conception either in the war effort or in the manufacturing/cleaning businesses where this chemical abounds

Helps?
