The guild offers a scholarship each year. Applications are available from Susan Edmonson or Nancy Edminston.
The Charlotte Quilter's Guild Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship award is granted each year in May to a candidate who is pursuing studies in a textile or textile related field.
Applying for the scholarship:
Scholarship forms must be submitted no later than March 31 of current year. The blank form is available for site members to download from the Forms page of this website, or request via e-mail quiltnews@yahoo.com and the form will be sent to you via e-mail.
Guild Member Grant Program for 2005
The Member Grant Program is again being offered this year. Please send a letter of interest to Nancy Edmiston and include the program information on the workshop/training you will be attending, the costs, proof of registration, and include a short narrative explaining how taking this training will improve your quilting/art design abilities. Also please confirm that you understand that the grant is self-funding and that you have a responsibility in accepting this grant to conduct a program at a guild meeting and a 6-hour workshop. Please note that you will not be paid to teach this workshop. The grant is up to $600. Deadline for entries is March 31, 2005. This grant is only available to current CQG members.
