Piper & Leo

The Wedding (Handfasting)
It took Piper and Leo three attempts to get married, the first was thwarted when the Elder's discovered what they were up to. The second when Prues astrology projected self rode off with a guy on a motorbike when she was to be arrested for murder (falsley accused).
The ceremony finally took place at midnight and was performed by High Priestess and Grandmother of the Charmed Ones Penny Halliwell (Grams)
The Vows:
Grams: We have gathered here today to unite two souls as one. Do you, Leo Wyatt and Piper Halliwell, join us here of your own free will, to acknowledge the eternal bond shared between you?
Leo: I do.
Piper: I do.
Grams: Face each other and join hands. Leo, you may recite your vows...
Leo: Piper, through all the tears and struggles, I always knew in my heart we'd get here. I promise to love and protect you from this point forward as your husband; to honour and respect and care for you as long as you'll have me. My wife, my lover, my friend, and my soulmate - all I am...is yours.
Grams: Piper.
Piper: You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, Leo. Maybe that's why I wasn't as sure we'd make it here, because I was always afraid that you were too good to be true, that maybe I didn't deserve someone as pure, and beautiful, and loving as you are. But here we are, surrounded by the people I love most - and I feel so blessed to be your wife. I was born to love you, Leo. And I always will.
Grams: Here before witnesses, Leo and Piper have sworn vows to each other. With this cord, I bind them to those vows.
(The silver Handfasting cord is loosely wrapped around their wrists.)
Grams: However, this binding is not tied, so that neither partner is restricted by the other. Because the only true enforcement of love is the will to love.
Piper and Leo: Heart to thee, body to thee, forever and always, so mote it be.
Wedding party: So mote it be.
