Bubble Buddy Scented Bubbles for pets.

I'm a sucker.  It's true.  I found this new item at Target for pets.  It was a small "gun" looking bubble maker that came with beef and liver scented bubble liquid.  (Non-toxic to children and pets, of course.)  The package claimed that dogs would love chasing the bubbles.  I thought it sounded fun and that surely Nani would enjoy it.  I bought it and tried it out.  None of the dogs were interested in the bubbles.  They didn't seem attracted by any scent.  I took it back to Target, told them it didn't live up to it's advertising and they gave me my money back.  I chalked this up to one of the stupidest dog-related purchases I've made.  I didn't even let my husband know I was so embarrassed.

 Canvas Car Seat

The first car seat I tried for my dogs was one that was made of canvas on a metal frame.  The frame had two large "hooks" that fit over the top of the car seat.  It said it supported pets up to 10 pounds.  I found that it would slide off the seat very easily.  The frame was made so that it could be folded flat, but it would collapse upon itself when a dog was in it.  The bottom of the area where the pet sat was canvas, with no other support.  The only dog who didn't collapse this seat was Pica (3 lbs.), but because the bottom would sag, she didn't like to sit in it.  I paid $56.00 for this from R.C.Steele (now combined with Petsmart).  There was also no seatbelt or harness feature with this seat.  I have also seen this seat available from other general mail order catalogs.  (The picture is not exactly like the one I got, but gives a general idea.)

I like the Lookout car seat (featured in Favorites) much better.  I finally gave the previous car seat to Goodwill.

 Melaleuca

I purchased Melaleuca's shampoo and vitamins... neither Gidget nor Luigi (he's the cat) would go near the vitamins... I'm sending them back for a full refund.

Also would not recommend breath tablets... Gidgie had diarrhea right after eating only a few.  Her system is way too delicate for trying out new treats.  I've learned my lesson!
